Our office is at 209 A.J.C. Bose Road, inside the Karnani Estate. We are on the 3rd floor, room number 98. This part of Kolkata is always moving, and AJC Bose Road is usually packed with cars and buses. The building itself is one of those old ones with thick walls and high ceilings. You can feel the history when you walk through the hallways. Gimpex Overseas Pvt. Ltd. has been around for quite a bit now. Our space is filled with old wooden desks and cabinets full of files that have been there for years. We aren't the type to go for glass partitions or modern furniture. It feels more like a home than an office to some of us. We have a small group of people working here, and we’ve all known each other for a long time. The chai wallah knows exactly how we like our tea, which is important. We spend our days dealing with various bits of business, mostly paperwork and phone calls. It’s not flashy work, but it’s steady. Sometimes the monsoon rains make the commute a real pain, but we still make it in. We don’t put on airs or try to act like we’re a huge corporation. We’re just a local business trying to do things the right way. We keep our heads down and handle the daily tasks without much fuss. It is enough for us to keep going.
