Prakash Alloys & Forge Pvt. Ltd. is up on the 6th floor of 23A, N.S. Road. We are in Room No. 9A. It is a bit of a climb if the lift is acting up, which happens sometimes in these older buildings on N.S. Road. We have been in this room for quite a long time. It is a busy area with a lot of offices and people running around. Downstairs is always noisy with the traffic and the vendors. Up here in 9A, it is a bit quieter, but you can still hear the city. We work with alloys and forging stuff. It is technical work but we talk about it in plain English. We are not a big fancy corporation with hundreds of employees. It’s just a few of us here making sure the orders are right and the paperwork is done. We don't have a big polished showroom. The office is full of files and samples. We spend a lot of time on the phone or talking to people who drop by. Being on the 6th floor gives us a bit of a view, but we are usually too busy to look out the window. We just focus on what needs to get done today. It’s a practical way to run a business. We like the location because everything is close by. We just do our work and head home. There isn't much more to tell than that. We just stay focused on the metals and the forging.
