Mbe Coal And Mineral Technology

Working out of the Ecospace Campus 2B in New Town, Rajarhat, feels a bit different than a traditional mine site, but we are still focused on coal and mineral tech. It’s a modern building, yet we spend our time thinking about heavy machinery and raw earth. We have our desks set up here and a lot of technical drawings lying around. People think coal technology is all old-fashioned, but there is a lot of thinking that goes into it. Our team is a mix of people who have been in the industry forever and some newer faces. We spend a lot of time on calls with sites that are far away from Rajarhat. The campus is nice, but we are usually too busy with data or equipment specs to spend much time walking around the grounds. It’s a lot of coordination. We try to keep things simple. No one here wears a suit unless they absolutely have to. Most of the time, we are just trying to solve problems with how minerals get processed. It’s a specific kind of work, and it’s not for everyone. We like the challenge of it though. Even though we are in a fancy office area, we haven’t forgotten what it’s like on the actual field. We just do our bit from this corner of Kolkata and keep things moving for the people who depend on us.
