Ruby Boutique And Interior is over on Natun Pukur Road in Barasat. It’s in Ward No. 32, which is a busy little area once you get into the side streets. My shop is kind of a mix. I do clothes, but I also look at interior things because I’ve always liked how a house looks as much as how a person dresses. It’s not a corporate office. It’s more like a workshop where I have different projects going on at once. Some days I’m looking at curtain fabrics and other days I’m helping someone with a saree or a suit. I just like having a space where I can work on both clothes and home stuff. It can get a bit cluttered with all the samples and rolls of cloth lying around, but that’s just how it is when you’re actually making things. People come in to ask for advice on their living rooms or just to get something stitched. I’ve been at this location for a while now and most people know the Natun Pukur Road area well.
