Royal Scissor

Royal Scissor is located at 14, Manjendra Dutta Road. We are very close to the local bazar, which is why there is always a lot of foot traffic near our door. People are usually carrying bags of vegetables or household stuff when they walk past us. The shop is just a small place where we do hair cutting and shaves. It is not fancy at all. We have the basic stuff like mirrors and old chairs that have seen a lot of use over the years. We like it that way because it feels comfortable for the regulars. Working near the bazar means we see everyone in the neighborhood eventually. It is a noisy, busy part of Kolkata, but that is just how life is here. We open up the shutters every morning and get things ready for the day. Some days are busier than others, especially around the holidays when everyone wants to look a bit tidier for their families. We don't do any big marketing or anything. Our name is on the front and that is enough for people to find us. We have been on Manjendra Dutta Road for a long time. The floor is usually covered in hair until we sweep it up at the end of the shift. It is honest work and we are happy to be here. We don't try to be anything we are not. It is just a local shop for local people who live just a few streets away.
