Our office is at 7/B, Hatibagan Road, which is near C.I.T Road in the Poddopukur area. It’s a decent part of Kolkata to work in. We handle export stuff, which basically means we spend our time looking at logistics and making sure things aren't stuck at the port. The building isn't very new, and the elevator sometimes has a mind of its own, so we end up taking the stairs quite a bit. Inside, it’s mostly just desks, computers, and a lot of folders. We started out small and stayed at a size where we can actually talk to each other without using an intercom. We aren't trying to be the biggest company out there; we just want to get the job done right so the clients don't have to worry. There's a small tea shop just down the road where we go when we need a break from the screens. Poddopukur is a good neighborhood, and we’ve gotten to know the people in the nearby offices pretty well over the years. Some days the phones are quiet, but usually, it's a lot of checking on shipments and talking to suppliers. We don't wear suits or anything like that. We just come in, do the work, and head home.
