Our office is tucked away in a building that has seen better days, but it has a lot of character. There is always a lot of noise coming from the street, with carts being pushed and people shouting to get through the traffic. Inside, it’s a bit of a mess most of the time. We have boxes stacked in corners and some of the chairs don't really match. We aren't trying to impress anyone with the decor. Our main focus is just getting the orders sorted and making sure the inventory is where it should be. It’s a lot of manual work and keeping track of things on old computers. Sometimes we have tea brought in from the stall downstairs, and that’s usually the highlight of the afternoon. The air conditioning struggles during the peak of summer, so we usually have a few table fans going at once. It’s a cramped space but everyone knows where everything is, which is what matters. We’ve been here for a while and the locals know us. It’s not the kind of place you’d find in a magazine, but it’s a real working office. We just do our bit and go home when the work is done.
