R.H. Proteins Ltd.

R.H. Proteins Ltd. is located over at Building No. 205 on Rabindra Sarani. If you know the area, you know how crowded it gets near Machwaa Bazaar. Our office is on the 4th floor, specifically in Room No. 138A. It’s a bit of a climb because the elevator doesn't always feel like working, so we end up taking the stairs more often than not. The building is old and has that specific smell of concrete and time. We deal with protein products, mostly moving stuff in and out of the market area. It’s loud outside with all the rickshaws and people shouting, but once you get up to the fourth floor, it gets a little quieter. The room is packed with files and some samples we keep on the shelves. There’s barely enough space for three people to sit comfortably, but we manage. My uncle used to run things here before I took over the daily stuff. We don’t have a website or any of that new stuff. People just know to come to the building and look for our door. It’s a lot of paperwork and phone calls throughout the day. Sometimes the monsoon rain beats against the windows so loud we can’t even hear the phone. We just wait it out and keep working. It’s a decent living and the bazaar is right there if we need anything to eat or drink during our breaks.
