Renu Prabha

Renu Prabha is tucked away in the Baguihati Chal Bazar area, specifically at number 22 in the Pras Roy Sriti Market. If you know the market, you know how loud and busy it gets with people buying rice and vegetables every single morning. Our little shop is right in the middle of all that action. We started this place because we wanted to work for ourselves in our own neighborhood. The space is filled with the sound of the market outside and the snip of scissors inside. We have a couple of chairs that have seen a lot of use over the years. The floor is mostly covered in bits of hair until we get a chance to sweep it up between customers. It is a very local spot where people come to catch up on the latest news while getting a trim. We don't have any big signs or bright lights, just a simple door that stays open most of the day. Sometimes it gets a bit tight inside when three or four people are waiting, but nobody seems to mind much. We use basic sprays and lotions that people like. The market keeps us busy, and we like being part of the daily routine for the folks living around here. It’s a lot of work keeping things running, but seeing a familiar face walk in makes it feel right. We just keep our heads down and do the job as best as we can.
