You can find us at Flat 1/4 in the Madhulipi building, situated on Durga Prasanna Parmanhansa Road in Naktala. Kolkata has a specific rhythm, and Naktala definitely has its own feel, especially during the monsoon when the rain hits the windows hard. Our Reliance Retail Ltd office is right here in this residential block, which makes it feel a bit more like a home than a cold corporate office. It’s a bit of a walk from the main road, but the path is lined with trees and the local tea shops. Inside the flat, we’ve converted the rooms into workspaces. It’s a bit cramped when everyone is in at the same time, but we make it work. We’ve got files stacked up in the corners and the sound of the ceiling fans clicking overhead. We aren't here to impress anyone with expensive furniture. We are just here to get the daily business done. Sometimes the neighbors pop in to say hello, or we spend a few minutes talking about the cricket score while waiting for the kettle to boil. It’s a very grounded way to work. We don't have any flashy slogans or polished speeches. We just handle the retail logistics and paperwork that comes our way, day after day, in this quiet corner of Kolkata.
