Relax

We are situated at P-6, Scheme-Vii on the ground floor. The building is right on C I T Road in the Kankurgachi area of Kolkata. It is pretty easy to find because we are directly opposite the Bagmari Burial ground. Some people find that a bit of a landmark to look for. The shop isn't very large but we have enough room for what we need. Since we are on the ground floor, it is easy for people to just walk in from the sidewalk. C I T Road is always noisy with buses and cars going by, but once you are inside it feels a bit more secluded. Inside, there are some chairs and a small area where people can wait. Most mornings are spent cleaning the windows and tidying up the front area. The 700054 area is quite central so we get people from different parts of the city. We don't have any big flashy signs, just the name Relax on the door. It’s mostly just a regular day-to-day operation here. We know the other shop owners on the block and sometimes we grab tea from the stall nearby. The daily routine is pretty much the same every week. We open up, check our supplies, and wait for the first person to show up. It is a honest way to make a living and we stay busy enough. The afternoon sun hits the front door sometimes.
