Refresh Family Beauty Salon & Spa

If you live around Kestopur Main Road, you probably know where the Idbi Bank is. We are right near there in the Rabindra Pally area of Krishnapur. Refresh Family Beauty Salon & Spa is where we spend most of our days. It’s a family place, so we see everyone from kids getting their first haircut to older men coming in for a shave. Kolkata gets pretty humid, so we try to keep the place cool for everyone who walks in. We aren't doing anything revolutionary here. It's just a regular salon where you can get your hair washed, cut, or maybe get a massage if you’re feeling tired after work. We see a lot of the same faces every month, which is nice because we get to know what people like. The chairs aren't the newest, but they are comfortable enough. Sometimes the music is a bit loud, or we’re all talking at once, but that’s just how we are. We don't use those big fancy words to describe what we do. If you want a haircut, we cut your hair. If you want a spa treatment, we do that too, as best as we can. It gets really crowded on weekends, so sometimes there is a bit of a wait. We usually just offer people a seat and a glass of water. It’s a simple business run by people who live right here in Kolkata.
