Refra Mech (India)

Refra Mech is located at 22/2, Dr. Suresh Sarkar Road. It’s an old part of the city, so the streets can be quite narrow and crowded. Our building has been here for a long time. It’s got that specific character you only find in these types of neighborhoods. We do a lot of mechanical work, so there’s always a bit of grease and the smell of metal in the air. We don't have a fancy showroom. Most of our space is taken up by tools and materials. The staff here is small, just a few people who have been with us through thick and thin. We talk a lot while we work, mostly about the jobs we’re doing or what’s going on in the news. It’s a very grounded environment. We don't go for the corporate look because it wouldn't make sense for the kind of work we do. If a machine breaks down, we’re the ones getting our hands dirty to fix it. People find us through word of mouth mostly. They know the address and they know we’ll be here from Monday to Saturday. It’s just a regular local shop where we try to keep things straightforward and honest. We don’t have any big brochures or fancy presentations. We just show people what we’ve done and let that speak for itself. It’s how things have been done here for years and we see no reason to change.
