RAMKRISHNA TRADERS

Ramkrishna Traders is located at Plot No- 32/A on Patuatola Lane. It is quite close to the Amherst St Post Office, which is a good landmark if you are trying to find us for the first time. The lane is narrow and usually filled with people and carts, so it feels very much like the old part of the city. Our building has been here for a long time and it shows its age, but it serves us well enough for storing the goods we trade. We mainly handle paper and some stationery items that we move in and out all day. The desks inside are piled high with ledgers and old receipts because we still do a lot of things the old-fashioned way. It's not a quiet place, as there is always someone shouting an order or moving a box around. We know most of the neighbors and the tea stall nearby is where we spend a lot of our afternoons talking about the market. We don't have a big marketing department or anyone to answer phones with a script. It’s just us, the inventory, and the daily hustle of the trade. Sometimes the rain leaks in a bit near the back door, so we have to move the stock around, but that’s just part of being in this old neighborhood. We just keep the business running like our fathers did before us. It is steady work and we like the routine of it.
