We’re located at 24/8A Manujendra Dutta Road in Dumdum. It’s a classic Kolkata neighborhood, which means it’s always busy and there’s always something going on right outside the window. Our office is a simple space where we handle advisory work. We don’t have a massive staff, just a few people who know their way around the paperwork. The building itself is older, with the kind of character you only find in Dumdum. We spend a lot of time on the phone or typing up reports. Sometimes the heat gets to be a lot, especially in the afternoons, but we have enough fans to keep the air moving. We aren't trying to impress anyone with a sleek lobby or expensive art on the walls. Most of our furniture is just functional stuff we’ve gathered over the years. Our days are filled with the usual office tasks—answering emails, filing documents, and keeping the books in order. It’s not the most exciting work in the world, but it’s what we do, and we take it seriously enough. We like being in North Parganas because it feels connected to everything else. You can hear the sounds of the street vendors and the cars passing by all day long. It reminds us that we’re part of a living city. We just show up, do our bit, and go home once the sun goes down. It’s just how things go for a small business.
