R. G. D Footwear Pvt. Ltd. & Nirvana Dealtrade Pvt. Ltd.

Our business is situated at Sahara Ghoshpara along the Jessore Road (south), specifically in the P. O. Machael Nagar area. We have two names on the door, R. G. D Footwear Pvt. Ltd. and Nirvana Dealtrade Pvt. Ltd., but we all work together in the same space. It’s a busy part of the road with lots of trucks moving toward the airport or heading further south. Our building is quite tall and we use most of it for storage and our daily operations. Footwear takes up a lot of room, so there are boxes stacked almost to the ceiling in some of the rooms. It’s a bit of a climb if the lift isn't working, but we’re used to it. We don't have a polished showroom with glass displays. It’s more of a warehouse feel where we get things sorted and sent out to various dealers. The office part is just a few desks and some old computers where we keep track of the trades. We started this because we knew the footwear business well and wanted to have our own place. It’s not always easy, especially when the traffic on Jessore Road is bad and deliveries get delayed, but we manage. We don't have any big corporate goals; we just want to keep the business running smoothly and take care of our staff. We’re just local people doing trade in a busy corner of Machael Nagar, making it through each day as it comes.
