Punam Distributors

Punam Distributors is located at 185 Regent Estate in the Jadavpur area. If you know South Kolkata, you know that Jadavpur is always humming with activity. Our place at Regent Estate is where we handle all the distribution work. It is more of a warehouse and office mix than a retail shop. We have stacks of boxes everywhere and the floor is usually covered with packing materials. It’s a bit messy at times, but that’s just the nature of moving goods around. We don't have any air conditioning in the main area, so it gets quite warm during the summer months. We spend our hours checking invoices and making sure the right packages go to the right people. It’s a lot of heavy lifting and sometimes the paperwork gets a bit confusing, but we sort it out. We’ve been here for years and the neighbors are all used to the delivery vans coming and going. The building itself is an older one, so the walls have some cracks and the windows rattle when a big truck passes by. We don't have any fancy brochures or a marketing team. It’s just us doing the daily grind of distribution in this part of the city. We start early and usually don't leave until the last delivery is logged. It’s just how we do things here without any fuss.
