Prem Granites & Marble

We are located on the third floor of Block D in the Bichwadi area of Rabindra Sarani. Our address is 265, and it’s right in the middle of all that Rabindra Sarani chaos. If you’ve ever been here, you know how tight the streets are and how many people are moving at once. Up on the third floor, it’s a bit quieter, but you can still hear the honking from below. We deal in marble and granite slabs. It’s heavy stuff, so a lot of our work involves coordinating how to get these big pieces from the warehouse to the customer’s site. The office is where we show people the different patterns and colors available. It’s not a huge space, but we make it work with what we have. We spend a lot of time looking at floor plans and talking about square footage. Sometimes the power goes out and we just sit by the window until it comes back on. It’s just me and a couple of others running things here. We try to be helpful when someone isn't sure what kind of stone they need. There are a lot of marble shops around, but we’ve been at this spot for a good while. It’s a lot of paperwork and phone calls, mixed with the smell of wet stone and old ledger books that have been here since we started.
