Prasanta Salon

Prasanta Salon is located at 30, P K Guha Road in the 700028 area of Kolkata. We are very close to the 2 No Railway Gate, which is a big landmark for anyone living in this part of town. You can hear the trains passing by every now and then. The shop is a straightforward place for men to get their hair cut and maybe a shave. It is a small building on the side of the road. We have a few chairs and the usual tools like combs, scissors, and razors. It is not a very fancy place, but it is clean and we do our work properly. Many of our customers have been coming to us for years, ever since they were children. Now they bring their own kids here. It feels like we are a part of the local history. P K Guha Road is usually busy, so there is always someone popping in to ask if we have a free chair. We don't have a big team, just a couple of us who know how to handle different hair types. We don't use any expensive products, just the regular stuff you find in any local market. It is a quiet life for the most part, just cutting hair and chatting with the neighbors. If you are near the railway gate, you will see our sign. We are usually there from morning till late evening, six days a week. It is just a normal neighborhood shop for the locals.
