Praffula Devi Hospital

Over in Rajarhat, you’ll find Praffula Devi Hospital. It’s right there in the Rajarhat area, which has been growing quite a bit lately. The hospital itself is a place where there is always something happening. Whether it’s early in the morning or late at night, there are usually people around. It’s a bit bigger than a small clinic, so there are more hallways and rooms to keep track of. We spend a lot of our time walking from one end to the other. The air always has that hospital smell, a mix of cleaning stuff and medicine. We have some benches for people to sit on while they wait, and the walls are mostly covered in signs and notices. The Rajarhat location is convenient for a lot of people living in the new developments nearby. We aren't a corporate chain or anything like that. We just run Praffula Devi Hospital the best we can with the people we have. Sometimes the elevators are a bit slow, so we just take the stairs instead. It’s good exercise anyway. The windows look out over Rajarhat, and you can see the construction and the traffic moving along. It is a busy life, and there isn't much time for sitting around. We just keep moving, looking after whoever comes through the doors, making sure the hospital stays running day and night like it’s supposed to. It’s just our daily life here, keeping things going as best as we can.
