Pony Up Salon

Pony Up Salon is located at 716, Block A in Laketown. We’re pretty close to Jaya Cinema, so we get a lot of noise from the street, especially when a big movie is playing. It’s a lively part of town to be in. The salon itself is straightforward. We have the usual chairs, some big mirrors, and all the tools we need piled up on the side tables. It gets a bit messy when we’re busy, but we try to keep it organized. Most of the people who come in are just looking for a regular haircut or maybe something for a wedding. We’ve seen kids grow up coming here, starting with their first haircuts where they cried the whole time. Now they’re teenagers wanting something trendy. We don’t have a big fancy reception or anything like that. You just walk in and if a chair is free, you sit down. The fans hum all day long to keep the Kolkata humidity at bay. We usually have a news channel on the small TV in the corner. It’s just us working hard and chatting with the neighbors. Sometimes the power goes out for a bit, and we just wait it out with the customers, talking about the weather or the local news. It’s a decent place to work, and we’re glad to be part of the Laketown community. We just keep things moving every day.
