Global Commodity Exports

Our office, Global Commodity Exports, is based at No. 3 Pretoria Street. It’s a nice enough street, and we’ve been in this building for several years now. We spend our time trading different commodities, which means we’re always looking at what things cost and where they need to go. It’s a lot of watching the markets and talking to people from all over. The office is pretty traditional, with lots of old-style furniture and cabinets full of records. We don't have anything too modern or flashy here. Pretoria Street is usually quite busy, so the sounds of the city are always there in the background. We are a small team, and we all know each other well. There’s no big hierarchy; we just get on with whatever needs doing that day. Whether it's answering the phone or sorting out a shipping issue, we all pitch in. We aren't a massive global corporation with fancy offices in every city. We’re just a small group of people working out of this one spot. We’ve had good years and bad years, but we’ve managed to keep things moving. We don't use a lot of big words to describe what we do. We just buy and sell goods and try to do a decent job of it. It’s what we know, and it’s what we do every day.
