PATRIAM REALTORS PRIVATE LIMITED is based over in Salt Lake, Sector-5. We are located at DN-1, and our office is up on the 6th floor. Being in Sector-5 means we are surrounded by all those big glass buildings and a lot of people rushing around with ID cards around their necks. Our office is a bit more laid back than that. We have our desks set up, and there’s usually a pile of newspapers sitting on the table in the corner. The view from the 6th floor is alright, mostly just rooftops and the tops of trees if you look far enough. Salt Lake is a bit different from the rest of Kolkata; the roads are wider, but the traffic during office hours is still a nightmare. We try to get in early to beat the worst of it. The office itself is just a place where we sit and handle our business. There’s nothing particularly special about the furniture or the layout. It’s a functional space where we can focus without too many distractions. We spend a lot of time on our computers and talking to people who drop by. Lunchtime usually involves someone going out to grab rolls or chow mein from the stalls downstairs. It’s a busy environment, but we’ve gotten used to the pace of things here. We just do our work and head home when the sun starts going down. It is what it is.
