Shoeways

Shoeways is located at No. 33/1 Bright Street, right in the Park Circus area of Kolkata. If you know this part of the city, you know it’s always crowded and full of life. Our shop is tucked away among all the other buildings, and it can be easy to miss if you aren't looking for the number. Inside, it’s mostly just shelves filled with shoes and the sound of the ceiling fan clicking. We’ve been operating out of this spot for a long time. It’s a bit dusty because of all the traffic outside on Bright Street, but that’s just how it is in Kolkata. We aren’t a big chain or anything like that. It is just a local business where we sell footwear to anyone who walks in. The floors are a bit worn down from years of people coming and going. Sometimes the rain gets a bit heavy and we have to watch the doorstep, but we manage. We don't have a big marketing budget or a team of experts. It’s just us, the stock, and the customers who have been coming to Park Circus for years. We spend our mornings unpacking new arrivals and the afternoons helping folks find a pair that fits. It’s not complicated work, but it keeps us busy from Monday to Saturday. We like being part of the neighborhood. It’s noisy, busy, and exactly where we belong.
