Being in Alipore, it’s a lively spot with a lot of people moving around. Our yard at Palazzo Marbles Bansal Granite & Marbles is always busy. There is a lot of noise from the saws and the cranes moving the heavy slabs. It’s not the kind of place where you’d wear your best clothes because of all the stone dust and water. We’ve got piles of different stones everywhere, and we spend our days sorting through them or loading them onto trucks. It’s hard work, and your hands get rough after a while. We don’t have a fancy reception area with a coffee machine. Usually, someone will just point you to the office if you need to talk about an order. We just focus on getting the right pieces out to the people who need them for their buildings.
