If you look for us in Kolkata, you’ll find us on Shakespare Sarani. We are in the Express Tower building. It’s a well-known building at number 42. Our office is right there on the first floor, so nobody has to wait too long for the lifts to arrive. Shakespare Sarani is always bustling, and there’s always something going on outside on the street. The traffic noise is just part of the background music for us now. Being on the first floor is handy when we are in a hurry to get things delivered. The office is pretty basic. We have our desks, some filing cabinets, and the usual computer equipment. It’s where we spend our eight or nine hours every day. The building has been around for a bit and it feels solid. We aren't into the whole corporate lifestyle with fancy titles and all that. Everyone just helps out where they can. It’s a lot of coordination and making sure things are where they should be at the right time. We usually eat lunch at our desks or go to one of the stalls nearby for some quick street food. The winters are nice here, but the humidity in the summer can be tough to handle. We keep the fans going and just get on with our tasks. It’s not a glamorous job, but it’s ours. People come in and out all day long. It’s a steady pace and we’ve gotten used to the way things work.
