Buddha Bites

Our place is on Jessore Road in the Bangur Avenue part of Kolkata. If you are looking for us, we are at number 862, right near the China Mandir. That’s a pretty well-known landmark around here so it’s hard to miss. We’ve been serving food in this spot for some time now. Bangur Avenue is a busy residential area so we get a lot of locals coming in. It’s the kind of place where you see the same faces every week. We aren't trying to be fancy or anything. The tables are simple and we just try to get the orders out as they come in. Sometimes it gets a bit crowded on the weekends or during the evening rush when everyone is getting home from work. Jessore Road always has something going on, cars honking and people walking by, so there’s plenty of energy outside our door. Inside, we just keep things moving. We do mostly Chinese-style dishes because that’s what we know. There are no big speeches about our food. We just cook it and hope people enjoy their meal. The staff here is mostly local guys who have been with us for a bit. We know the neighborhood well and we like being part of the community here in Kolkata. It's just a regular restaurant where you can get a bite to eat without any drama or high prices for the neighborhood.
