The street is always full of life, with vendors and shoppers everywhere you look. We have been here for a good while, serving chicken and keeping the place clean. It’s a fast-paced environment, so we are usually on our feet from the moment we open the doors until we lock up at night. The kitchen gets pretty hot, but that’s just how it goes when you’re frying food all day. We have a small team of workers who mostly live in the surrounding neighborhoods. We aren't a big corporate office; we are just a local fast-food spot where people come to grab a quick meal. The building at 262 has its own character, being in such an old part of Kolkata. Sometimes the delivery guys have a hard time navigating the narrow lanes around Rabindra Sarani, but they manage. We don’t do anything too fancy here. We just make sure the orders are right and the floors are swept. Every day brings a different crowd, from students to workers on their break.
