Ahaar

Our place is on the ground floor along Jessore Road. If you know where Airport Gate Number 2 is, then you have basically found us. It is a very busy stretch of road in Kolkata. There is always the sound of planes taking off or landing nearby, and the traffic outside never really stops. We get a mix of people coming through here. Some are travelers who have just landed and are looking for something to eat before they head further into the city. Others are locals who live around the airport area and just want a quick meal. The location means there's a lot of noise. It can get pretty dusty out there, but that’s Jessore Road for you. We keep the doors open and just deal with the heat and the humidity like everyone else. The interior is just basic tables and chairs, nothing like those polished places you see in the malls. We’ve seen the area change a lot over the years, with new buildings going up and more cars on the street every day. It’s a bit of a hectic spot, but we like being where things are happening. Sometimes the rain floods the road a little, but we stay open anyway. We don't have a big team, just a few of us making sure things are okay. It’s just a regular local business trying to get by. Not much else to tell. It is just a simple place on the way to the airport.
