Dehat Vegetarian

Dehat Vegetarian is situated in Lake Town, specifically at 104/A in Block B. We are quite close to the Lake Town Girls College, so we see a lot of students and teachers coming by. We only do vegetarian food here. We felt there was a need for a simple veg place in this part of town. It’s not a large place, just a comfortable spot where people can get a meal. The atmosphere is pretty relaxed. We don't have any loud music or flashy stuff. Most of our customers are locals who live in the surrounding blocks of Lake Town. We know many of them by face because they come in a few times a week. The kitchen is small but we manage to keep things moving. We try to keep the menu simple so we can make everything fresh. Sometimes we change things up depending on what vegetables are good at the market that morning. It is a bit tucked away, but once people find us, they usually come back. We aren't a big chain or anything, just a local spot trying to serve decent food. Working in Lake Town is nice because of the trees and the lake nearby. We’ve been here for a couple of years and we plan to stay as long as people keep coming. It is a quiet business for the most part. We just open the shutters, cook the day's meals, and then head home when the pots are empty.
