Packaging Systems & Services

Packaging Systems & Services is based at 18/211 on Dr. N.G. Saha Road in the Behala Raidighi area. It’s a neighborhood where everyone seems to know everyone else. We have a ground-floor space that we use for all our packaging work. It’s mostly filled with rolls of bubble wrap, boxes, and various types of tape. We help people figure out how to pack their items so they don't break during transport. It is a small business and we don't really bother with any of that corporate talk. The office is just a small table with a phone and a notebook where we write down the orders. In the monsoon season, we have to be careful because the street outside can flood, so we keep everything on high shelves. We spend a lot of our day chatting with the delivery drivers who come to pick up the packages. There’s no big sign outside, just a small one near the door. We don't have a lot of rules here; we just show up and do the work that needs to be done. The tea stalls nearby are where we spend most of our breaks. It’s a very local operation and we like it that way. We aren't trying to be anything other than a place for people in Behala to get their packing done.
