Omex International

Omex International is located up on the second floor at 290 B. B. Ganguly Street. It’s an old building, so the stairs can be a little tiring if you aren't used to them. We’ve been working from this spot for a long time. The street outside is always full of noise from the buses and the people walking toward the station. Inside, it's a bit quieter, but we are usually busy with paperwork or on the phone. We handle a lot of different trade things here. It isn't a fancy office with new furniture; it’s just a place where we get things done. We have old wooden cabinets full of files and a few computers that have seen better days. There are three of us who are here every day. We usually have lunch together at our desks while we talk about the day's work. The windows look out over the street and you can see the whole world going by. It’s a good location for us because it’s easy to get to, even if the building is a bit dated. Sometimes the power goes out and we just sit and wait, chatting until it comes back on. We don't have a big sign outside, just our name on the directory. It’s a simple operation and we like it that way. Most people around the B. B. Ganguly Street neighborhood know where we are.
