Nundy'S

Nundy'S has been sitting at 99A, Park Street for a long time now. This part of Kolkata is always busy, but our shop has a slower pace to it. It is an old building, and you can feel the history when you walk in. We don't have many employees, just a few people who have been with us for years. The shelves are packed with all sorts of items, and honestly, it can look a bit cluttered at times. We don't follow any modern retail rules about how to display things. We just put them where they fit. Some days are very quiet, and we just watch the traffic go by on Park Street from our front door. Other times, several people come in at once, all looking for different things. We don't try to push people to buy anything; we just tell them what we have available. The paint on the walls is a bit old, and the floorboards might creak a little, but it feels like home to us. We’ve seen the city change so much, from the old trams to the way things are now. We just stay here at our address, opening up every morning and closing up when it gets dark. It is a quiet, simple way to run a shop in a very famous part of town. There is no need for big talk when you have been around this long.
