Normal Gents Parlour

Normal Gents Parlour is situated on the ground floor along S.K Deb Road. If you are familiar with Sree Bhumi, you probably know where we are. We sit right across from the Mansa Mandir. It is a busy street, especially during the festivals when people go to the temple. Our shop is quite plain, just like the name says. we have been here for many years. Inside, you will find three old chairs and big mirrors that have seen better days. The floor is tiled, and we sweep it after every customer. It is just me and two other guys working here. We start our day around nine in the morning. Sometimes we have a queue before we even open the shutters. People come for a regular haircut or a quick shave. We don't do anything very modern. It is mostly just standard styles. We talk a lot about local politics and the weather. The fan on the ceiling makes a bit of a rattling noise, but it keeps the place cool. Sree Bhumi is a nice area to work in. We see the same faces every month. Most of our customers are neighbors who live in the nearby blocks. We don't use fancy creams or expensive lotions. It is just basic stuff that gets the job done. Sometimes we get a bit of a crowd on Sunday mornings. People sit on the wooden bench and wait their turn while reading the newspaper. It's a simple life for us here on S.K Deb Road.
