Nine Star Marbles

We are located right besides the Majerhat Railway Station at 88/4, Hellen Kellar Sarani in New Alipur. Being so close to the station means we hear the trains going by all day long, but you get used to it after the first week. Nine Star Marbles is a place where we keep a lot of stock out in the open. It is a bit of a maze of stone slabs if you do not know where you are going. We spend most of our time outside, regardless of the weather. When the rain comes, we just cover things up and wait it out. It is not a corporate office. There is a small cabin where we keep the books and take a seat when the legs get tired. We have been at this New Alipur location for a while. Most of our customers are local folks or contractors who know the area well. We do not have a fancy website or a glossy brochure. If you want to see what we have, you just come by and walk through the rows of marble. It is honest work and it is heavy. Moving these pieces takes a bit of muscle and some care. We try to keep things simple and just talk to people like neighbors. That is how we have always done things here. It works for us and it seems to work for the people who buy from us.
