Nawkiran Projects

Our office is tucked away at 18, Rabindra Sarani inside Poddar Court. If you’ve ever been to this part of the city, you know how busy the streets get. It’s always noisy outside with the traffic and people moving around, but inside we’re just focused on whatever project is on the desk. We handle a lot of paperwork and planning for various construction and site works. There are always blueprints spread out and notebooks filled with measurements. We aren't a big corporate firm with hundreds of people. It’s just a small team of us who know how to get things done on the ground. Sometimes we are out at sites more than we are in the office. The building itself is an older one, so it has that classic Kolkata feel to it. We deal with all kinds of building tasks, from small renovations to bigger structural stuff. We don’t spend money on fancy advertisements or big signs. Most of the people who work with us heard about us through someone else. It gets pretty hectic when multiple projects are running at once, and the phones don't seem to stop ringing. We just take it one day at a time, making sure the materials arrive where they should and the workers know what they’re doing. It’s hard work, but we’ve been at it long enough to know the shortcuts through the city and how to manage the local weather. There's always a lot to do, but we keep moving.
