Our place is on the 5th floor at 235/2A A J C Bose Road here in Kolkata. Being up on the fifth floor gives us a bit of a view of the city traffic, which is always moving. AJC Bose Road is a very central spot, so there is always something happening outside. The office isn't anything special to look at, just a functional space where we do our real estate work. We have a lot of files and ledgers because we still like to keep things on paper sometimes. A lot of our day is spent answering calls or sitting around the table discussing different property deals. It can get a bit hectic when multiple things are happening at once, but we manage. We aren't a big, polished firm. We are just local people who understand how property works in this part of West Bengal. We usually have the radio playing softly in the background while we work. Lunchtime is when we all sit together and eat whatever we brought from home. It is a very relaxed atmosphere, even when the work itself is serious. We deal with all the legal documents and site visits that come with being a realty firm. It takes a lot of patience to get everything right, but we have been doing this long enough to know the routine. We just show up every day and do the job the best we can.
