Narayana Multispeciality Hospital

Narayana Multispeciality Hospital is located at 78 Jessore Road. If you’ve ever driven down Jessore Road, you know those big old trees and how narrow the road feels with all the trucks. The hospital is right in the middle of all that activity. I’ve worked here for a couple of years now. It’s a solid building, but like anything on this road, it gets a bit dusty from the traffic. We have a lot of departments here, so there’s always someone looking for a specific room or doctor. I spend a lot of time pointing people toward the right staircase. It’s a lively place, sometimes a bit too lively when everyone is talking at once in the lobby. We deal with all sorts of medical issues every day. Some days are smooth and others are just a mess of paperwork and phone calls that never seem to stop. The staff room is small, but it’s where we get to sit for ten minutes and have a quick snack. We aren't doing anything world-changing, just regular hospital work. We show up, put on our uniforms, and help the people who come in from the Barasat area or further down Jessore Road. It’s a bit of a grind sometimes, but it’s what we do. The rain usually makes the entrance a bit messy, but we keep the mops going.
