Mumtaz Boutique

If you have ever been to Shreeram Arcade on Jawaharlal Nehru Road, you know how crowded it can get. Mumtaz Boutique is up on the 2nd floor. Specifically, it’s shop number 456 in No. 15A. It’s a small space, but we pack a lot into it. Being in a big building like the arcade means there are always people walking by, but being on the 2nd floor makes it a little quieter than the ground level. I have been running this shop for some time now. It’s just me and a couple of helpers sometimes. We have lots of different outfits hanging up. It isn't a high-end designer showroom; it’s just a regular boutique where we try to have things that people actually want to wear. Getting up to the 2nd floor is easy enough with the stairs or the lift. I spend most of my hours here, fixing the displays or talking to customers who wander in. Shreeram Arcade is a landmark in this part of town, so finding us isn't too hard once you get inside. The shop is a bit small, so it feels cozy. We have all sorts of styles, mostly what’s popular right now. I don't do much advertising. People mostly find out about Mumtaz Boutique by walking past it while they are shopping for other things in the building. It’s just a simple business on Jawaharlal Nehru Road. We open every morning and stay until the building closes up.
