Mission Of Mercy Hospital Research Centre

Our place is right on Park Street, near Mullick Bazar. It’s a busy corner of Kolkata, and there’s always something happening outside the doors. We’ve been here at 125/1 for quite a long time now. The building is old but it holds up. Most of the staff here have been around for years, so we all know each other's names and how everyone likes their chai. We spend our time looking after patients and doing some research in the back rooms. It’s a lot of walking up and down hallways. Sometimes it feels like we never stop moving. The Park Street area gets really crowded, especially during the holidays, but inside we try to keep things as quiet as possible so people can rest. We aren't a fancy private clinic with marble floors. It’s more of a practical place where the floors are clean and the machines hum all day long. Some days are harder than others, especially when the waiting room is full and the humidity is high. We just do what needs to be done. We have doctors, nurses, and lab people all working together under one roof. It’s not always perfect, and sometimes the paperwork piles up, but we get through it. People come to us from all over the city because they know where we are. We just keep the lights on and keep working. It is just a regular part of life for us here in this part of town.
