Mohendranath Bhar &Sons

Our office is at 502 Kalikapur Road, right in the East End Park area of Kolkata. It’s a nice part of the city to be in. Mohendranath Bhar & Sons has been a family-run thing for a long time. You can tell when you walk in because we have old photos and things that have been passed down. It’s not a modern, minimalist space. It’s a bit cluttered with history and paperwork. We handle our business the old-fashioned way, mostly. We like to talk to people directly instead of just sending emails all the time. The 700099 area is where we feel most at home. Sometimes the street gets crowded with people going to the park, but we don't mind the noise. We have a few staff members who have been with us for decades. They know the business better than anyone. We don’t have a big marketing budget or fancy brochures. We just rely on the fact that we’ve been here for years and people know who we are. Some days are quieter than others, and we might just sit and have a long talk over some sweets and tea. It’s a very Kolkata way of doing things. We take pride in just being consistent and showing up every day to keep the family name going. It’s our life’s work and we're proud of our roots.
