Our office is situated in the Sundaram Building on Rafi Ahmed Kidwai Road. It is 46F, so we are up a bit. This street is always busy, no matter what time of day it is. You hear the horns and the people shouting even from inside sometimes. We spend our days consulting on property matters. It sounds more formal than it actually is. Mostly, it is just sitting down with people and figuring out the legal side of buying or selling land and buildings. There are always heaps of documents on the desks. We have been in this building for some time, and the elevator can be a bit slow on Mondays, which is a bit of a nuisance. Dealing with real estate in a city like this means you meet all sorts of characters. Some are in a hurry, others want to talk for hours about their family history before getting to the point. We just listen and try to give them the right direction. It is a lot of back and forth with the registry office and banks. The tea here is actually pretty good if you get it from the guy around the corner. We don't have a big corporate team, just a handful of us making sure everything is done correctly. It is a living, and it keeps us busy from morning until the sun goes down over the city rooftops.
