M.M. Exports India

Down on Grant Street at number three, that is where we do our work. It is a narrow street and things get quite cramped when the delivery trucks try to turn the corner. We have been doing exports for a while now. The building is old, and the stairs are a bit steep, so we usually just stay at our desks once we get in for the morning. There is always a lot of paper everywhere. We deal with various goods that need to go overseas, so we spend a lot of time on the phone or typing out lists. It isn't very exciting work, but it keeps us busy. M.M. Exports India is just a small team of us working in a couple of rooms. We have a ceiling fan that makes a clicking noise every time it spins, but we stopped noticing it years ago. Sometimes we have to stay late to deal with the time differences for people in other countries. We drink a lot of coffee from the shop across the way. The street outside is always full of people walking to the nearby market. It can be quite a struggle to find a quiet moment. We don't really do anything flashy. We just make sure the goods get from one place to another without too many problems. It is a lot of checking codes and making sure the boxes are labeled correctly. That is basically our day-to-day life here.
