Our office is tucked away in the Mercantile Building, right on Lal Bazar Street. We are in Room No. 18 on the first floor of A Block. It’s one of those older buildings where the hallways are narrow and you can hear the city outside. Dealing with trade means we have a lot of stuff coming through, mostly paperwork and coordination. Lal Bazar is always crowded, so getting here in the morning can be a bit of a challenge sometimes. The room isn't huge, but it fits our desks and the filing cabinets just fine. We spend most of our time here on the phones or checking through orders. It gets pretty warm in the afternoons, but we have a fan that keeps things moving. We’ve been in this spot for some time, and the neighbors on the first floor are all familiar faces now. We don't do much in the way of advertising because we stay busy enough with our regular contacts. You walk up the stairs, take a turn, and there we are. Sometimes the light in the hallway flickers, but it’s a solid old place to work from. We keep things basic and just focus on getting the shipments sorted out. It’s not a fancy corporate setup, just a working office in a busy part of town where we get the job done every day. We usually grab tea from the stall downstairs around eleven when there's a quick break in the work.
