We are Mehta Tools Syndicate, and you can find us at 67B Netaji Subhas Road. Our office is in Room No 16. NS Road is a very famous spot for hardware and tools, so there is always a lot of shouting and hauling going on outside. Our building is one of those older ones with a lot of character, and sometimes the stairs feel a bit steep. Inside room 16, we keep things as organized as we can, though with so many tools, it’s a constant battle. We spend our days answering the phone and dealing with walk-in customers who are usually in a hurry. It’s a fast-paced environment here in the heart of the business district. We don’t have a big team, just a few of us making sure everything runs okay. We’ve seen many businesses come and go on this street, but we’ve managed to stay put. It’s a lot of manual work, moving boxes and checking lists. We don’t use any high-tech systems, just our ledgers and what we know. People know they can come to us for their tool needs without any fuss. It’s just how we’ve always done it. The tea stalls nearby keep us going throughout the day. It’s a bit of a squeeze sometimes, but we get the job done for everyone.
