Medley Minerals (I) Ltd. is situated on the 7th Floor of Sagar Estate 2, which is on N.C. Dutta Sarani. Working in the mineral industry means we spend a lot of our time dealing with technical data and logistics. Our office is a simple space. We don't have any flashy decorations or expensive furniture. The elevators in Sagar Estate 2 are sometimes a bit slow, especially during the morning rush, but it gives us a moment to think before the day starts. Once we are up on the 7th floor, it’s mostly just the sound of people on phones or typing. We manage a variety of minerals and keep track of where everything is going. The view from our windows is mostly just the tops of other buildings and the street noise from N.C. Dutta Sarani down below. It gets pretty busy when we have big shipments coming in or going out. There is always a lot of paperwork to sign and verify. We’ve been here for a good amount of time and the team knows the routine well. We don't do much in terms of marketing. Most of our business comes from people who already know who we are and what we do. It’s a practical environment where we focus on getting the details right. We just take things one day at a time and make sure the orders are handled correctly.
