Mayfair Hospital

We are located in Ram Nagar, quite close to Rabindra Bharati University. Being near a university means there are always people moving around outside. The hospital has been here long enough that the local residents know the way by heart. Inside, it smells like disinfectant most of the time which is expected for a hospital. We have different rooms for different needs. Some days are very quiet and we just sit at the counter checking files. Other days everyone seems to need help at the exact same time. It can be quite stressful when the lobby is full of families waiting for news. The doctors are always moving between wards and their offices. We have a canteen nearby where the staff grabs a quick tea when there is a break. It is not a five-star hotel experience. It is a place where sick people come to get better. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint in some spots but that is not the priority right now. We focus more on making sure the beds are ready and the medicine is stocked up. It is a lot of responsibility to keep a place like this running day and night. We are here twenty-four hours because problems don't stop just because it is dark outside. People walk in with all sorts of troubles and we do what we can to fix them up.
