Manjoo Art Salon

Manjoo Art Salon is tucked into Stall 45 over by the 206 bus stand in Salt Lake City. It is a small spot, nothing too big or flashy. If you are catching a bus or walking through that part of the city, you have probably passed us a hundred times. We have been in this stall for quite some time now. The space is tight, so we have to keep everything organized. You will usually find one or two of us working while people wait on the bench nearby. It gets noisy with the buses pulling in and out all day, but we are used to it by now. The air smells like hair products and sometimes the snacks from the stalls next door. It is a busy little corner of the world. We don't have a lot of bells and whistles here. It is just a place to get a haircut or a shave while you are on your way somewhere else. Most of our regulars are people who work in the offices nearby or live in the blocks close to the stand. We keep the mirrors clean and the tools ready. It is a simple setup for a simple job. Every day is a bit different depending on how the traffic is moving outside. We just keep our heads down and do the work in our little stall. It gets pretty warm in the afternoons, but we have a small fan that helps out.
