Mamta Salon

Mamta Salon is located on Misson Bazar Road in the Krishnapur area of Kolkata. We are very easy to find because we are right near the auto stand. The 700102 area is always buzzing with activity especially with all the auto-rickshaws coming and going throughout the day and night. The shop is quite small and it can get a bit loud with the sounds of the engines and the drivers shouting outside. But we have been here for a long time and we are used to the noise of the bazar. We don't have any fancy glass windows or air conditioning units. It is just a simple open shop where you can walk right in from the street. We do basic haircuts for the men and children of Krishnapur. Many of our customers are the auto drivers themselves who need a quick trim between their shifts. We have a few old mirrors and some chairs that have been repaired a few times over the years. It is a very down to earth place where people feel comfortable just coming in and sitting down. We don't do any complicated hair treatments or anything like that. Just simple cuts and shaves for the working people of the neighborhood. Being part of the Misson Bazar life is something we really enjoy. It is a busy and messy place sometimes but it is where we belong and we just do our work day after day.
