Maitra & Associates

We are located at 90/1, Uday Sankar Sarani, right in the Golf Garden area. Maitra & Associates isn't your typical high-rise office. It’s more of a lived-in space where we get our thinking done. The shelves are packed with files and books that have been there since we started. Sometimes the ceiling fan squeaks, but we’ve stopped noticing it after all these years. Golf Garden is a bit quieter than the main roads, which helps when we are trying to focus on a difficult project. We don't have a receptionist sitting at a desk with a headset. Usually, if the door opens, one of us just looks up from our desk and says hello. We deal with a lot of technical stuff, but we try to talk to people like normal neighbors. There’s always a pot of tea going somewhere in the back. Our desks are usually covered in drawings and half-empty coffee mugs. We aren't much for polishing our image or putting up big posters about ourselves. We just do the work that comes our way and hope it helps whoever asked for it. People in this part of town know us by name, and that’s plenty for us. It’s a small operation, and we like it that way because we can actually see what’s going on with every single job. It’s just us doing what we know in a place we like.
